ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

Laebon Developments Ltd, the 2018 & 2019 Large Volume Builder of the Year requires an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will require 2-3 years experience in residential home design. This position will require the candidate to complete drawings using Revit, starting from the design stage all the way to construction drawings, ensuring they fit within Laebon’s Architectural controls, in accordance with the current building and fire codes, as well as follow municipal bylaws. Site plans, grading, and standard model maintenance will also be included in the scope of work. They will be working alongside our sales and estimating team to ensure the project is designed and drawn within the signed contract between homeowner and Laebon.


Qualifications include:
• Completion of a College or University program in Architectural Technologies.
• 2-3 years residential home design experience.
• Experienced in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Building and Fire codes and Municipal Bylaws.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and client care are a must as well as a willingness to be a part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Basic understanding of structural, mechanical and electrical systems.

PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT

As a Part-Time Sales Assistant you will be responsible to promote and generate leads for the Community Sales Manager. In addition, you will work as part of a larger team promoting what Laebon has to offer throughout Central Alberta.

Hours are approximately 25-30 hours a week on weekends and select weekdays from 11:30am to 5pm with occasional morning and evenings.

Responsibilities for this role include:
•Generating leads and creating traffic in our show homes.
•Marketing and promoting your community as well as supporting those efforts in all our communities.
•Presenting our show homes/quick possession homes to visitors.
•Maintaining an extensive knowledge of Laebon’s products e.g. home plans, home sites and current pricing as well as have a working knowledge of the community and its amenities and demographics.
•Reporting on sales activity and utilizing sales software to assist with the sales process.

Qualifications considered include:
•Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office is required.
•Experience utilizing sales software is an asset.
•Customer service experience.
•Sales experience.
•Proficiency in Social Media.
